Chilled Water Delta-T

The temperature difference between return and supply chilled water, typically designed at 10 to 12 degrees F, representing the heat absorbed from the building. Low delta-T syndrome occurs when actual delta-T is much less than design, forcing chiller plants to run extra machines unnecessarily.
