Double Bundle Condenser

Last updated: June 9, 2026

A water-cooled condenser in a chiller containing two separate tube bundles within the same shell, allowing heat rejected by the refrigerant to be distributed between a cooling tower circuit and a heat recovery circuit for simultaneous cooling and heating. This configuration is common in buildings that need both cooling and domestic hot water or space heating year-round.
