Coil Circuiting

Last updated: June 9, 2026

The internal arrangement of refrigerant or water passes within an evaporator or condenser coil, designed to balance pressure drop, velocity, and heat transfer across all active circuits at varying load conditions. Proper circuiting is critical in DX coils to ensure complete refrigerant evaporation and uniform superheat across all circuits.
