An EPA Section 608 certification category for technicians who service, maintain, repair, or dispose of high-pressure appliances other than small appliances, including equipment using refrigerants such as R-22, R-410A, and R-134a. It covers the recovery and recycling of refrigerants from systems with more than five pounds of charge.
