Pressure Class

A designation defined by SMACNA that specifies the maximum operating static pressure for which a duct system is constructed, including the required gauge thickness, joint reinforcement, and sealing requirements. Common pressure classes are 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 10 inches of water column.
