Capacitance Hygrometer

A humidity sensor that measures relative humidity by detecting changes in the electrical capacitance of a hygroscopic polymer or metal-oxide thin film as it absorbs or desorbs water vapor. It is widely used in building automation and HVAC controls because of its small size and low cost.
