Capacity Ratio

The ratio of total connected indoor unit nominal capacity to the outdoor unit nominal capacity in a VRF or multi-zone system, expressed as a percentage. Most manufacturers allow overcapacity ratios of 100 to 130 percent because not all zones typically demand full capacity simultaneously.
