Reverse Cycle Defrost

A defrost method used primarily in heat pump systems where the refrigerant circuit is reversed so that the outdoor coil becomes a condenser, using hot discharge gas to melt accumulated frost. It is also applied in some commercial refrigeration systems for efficient defrost.
