Booster Compressor

A compressor dedicated to the low-temperature stage of a two-stage or cascade refrigeration system, drawing suction from the low-temperature evaporators and discharging into the intermediate pressure level or high-stage suction. Booster systems are common in supermarket low-temperature applications to achieve efficient operation at low evaporating temperatures.
