An energy storage system captures and stores electrical energy for later use, enabling grid independence and load management. Technical Details

Lithium-ion batteries dominate residential energy storage, offering 80% to 95% round-trip efficiency and 10-year to 15-year lifespans. Systems include battery packs, inverters, monitoring electronics, and safety controls operating at 48V to 400V DC. Typical residential systems provide 5 kWh to 15 kWh of usable capacity, supporting 4 to 12 hours of backup power.
