Boiler Protection Control

A control strategy or device that prevents cold return water from entering a boiler below a minimum threshold temperature, typically 130 to 140 degrees F for non-condensing boilers. It protects cast iron and steel heat exchangers from thermal shock and flue gas condensation that causes corrosion.
