Liner Thickness

The depth of insulating or acoustic material applied inside a duct, commonly 1 inch or 2 inches for fiberglass duct liner. Increased liner thickness improves acoustic attenuation and thermal performance but reduces the usable internal cross-section and increases friction loss.
