Run-Around Coil System

A heat recovery system in which two separate coil-and-fan assemblies in the supply and exhaust ducts are connected by a pumped glycol loop that carries heat between the streams without any direct airstream contact. It is useful when supply and exhaust ducts are far apart or cross-contamination must be absolutely prevented.
