Thermocouple Vacuum Gauge

Last updated: June 9, 2026

A vacuum gauge that measures pressure by detecting the temperature of a thermocouple element that is cooled by gas molecule collisions, with lower pressure resulting in less cooling and a higher temperature reading. Like thermistor gauges, it is used in the intermediate vacuum range common during HVAC system evacuation.
