Vacuum Pump

A mechanical pump used to evacuate a refrigerant circuit to a deep vacuum, typically below 500 microns, to remove air and moisture before refrigerant charging. Two-stage pumps achieve lower ultimate vacuums than single-stage models, making them preferred for moisture-sensitive systems.
