By using hvac.best, creating an account, claiming a listing, purchasing a membership, or submitting content, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Listing Rights and Removal
hvac.best reserves the right to remove, modify, suspend, or unpublish any listing, contractor profile, blog post, or user account at any time, for any reason, at our sole discretion, with or without notice. This includes but is not limited to listings that are inaccurate, misleading, inactive, in violation of these terms, or otherwise deemed inappropriate by hvac.best.
2. No Refunds
All payments made to hvac.best are final and non-refundable. This applies to all membership levels, including but not limited to the New Listing fee ($25), the Pro Contractor upgrade ($129), and any other fees or payments. There are no refunds for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to listing removal, account suspension, dissatisfaction with services, or failure to use purchased features.
3. Membership Tiers
- Free (Claim Your Listing): Allows verified owners of existing listings to claim and manage their business profile at no cost.
- New Listing ($25 one-time): Allows new businesses to create a listing in the hvac.best directory. Listings are subject to review and approval. Payment is required before listing creation. Approval is not guaranteed.
- Pro Contractor ($129 lifetime): Provides enhanced features including blog post publishing (up to 5 posts), featured placement, analytics, and a gold badge. Blog posts are subject to editorial review before publishing.
4. Content Review and Moderation
All user-submitted content, including but not limited to business descriptions, blog posts, and profile information, is subject to review and moderation by hvac.best. We reserve the right to edit, reject, or remove any content that does not meet our quality standards or editorial guidelines.
5. Blog Posts
Pro Contractor members may submit up to 5 blog posts for publication on hvac.best. All posts are reviewed before publishing. hvac.best reserves the right to reject, edit, or remove any submitted post. Published posts remain the property of hvac.best and may be retained on the site even if the membership is canceled or the listing is removed.
6. Accuracy of Information
Users are responsible for ensuring that all information provided in their listings and profiles is accurate, current, and not misleading. hvac.best is not responsible for verifying the accuracy of user-submitted information, including but not limited to business licenses, certifications, insurance, or qualifications.
7. Dofollow Backlinks
hvac.best currently provides dofollow backlinks to listed business websites. We reserve the right to change any link to nofollow at any time, for any reason, without notice. Link attributes (dofollow or nofollow) are not guaranteed and may change based on site policy, SEO considerations, or listing status.
8. Account Verification
Claiming a listing requires email verification or Google account authentication. hvac.best does not guarantee that the verification process proves legal ownership of the business. Disputes regarding listing ownership will be resolved at the sole discretion of hvac.best.
9. Limitation of Liability
hvac.best is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. hvac.best shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of this website, including but not limited to loss of business, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to hvac.best in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless hvac.best, its owners, operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the site, your listing content, or your violation of these terms.
11. Communications and Marketing
By creating an account, claiming a listing, or purchasing a membership on hvac.best, you consent to receive email communications from hvac.best. These communications may include but are not limited to: account notifications, listing updates, service announcements, promotional offers, marketing materials, partnership opportunities, newsletters, and information about new features or services. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, but you may not opt out of transactional communications related to your account or listing (such as verification emails, payment receipts, and listing status updates).
12. Changes to Terms
hvac.best may update these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.
13. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state in which hvac.best operates.
